    Short clip from the movie "The Girl in White" (1952) featuring June Allyson loosely portraying the real life character, Dr. Emily Dunning, one of the first female physicians to make it through the NYC hospital system.

   This portion shows her during her "ambulance training" days, jumping into horse drawn carriages.

    The teamster may look familiar; he's Jessie White, better known as the first Maytag Repairman. The injured longshoreman is  James Arness, before he became Gunsmokes'  Marshall Matt Dillon.
