American Optical Pulsar 4 defibrillator.

    Developed in the 1960's and manufactured in 1974. The defibrillator weighs 34 lbs. The ECG monitor is removable and can be used seperate from the defib unit.

I should have added in the description of this defibrillator that it was donated to my collection by Tom Parr, who was the founder of Parr Emergency Equipment which later became Boundtree. This is probably the same defibrillator seen in seveal early 1970's Horton Ambulance advertisements. I currently have this unit on display in my 1973 Horton ambulance.
