This is a 1972 Oldsmobile 48 inch high headroom Ambulance built by Cotner-Bevington, Div. of The Wayne Corporation out of Blytheville, AR.  This ambulance was purchased new for the Dallas County Ambulance Service in Perry, Iowa. The ambulance was purchased through Foster Coach Sales in Sterling, IL which is an ambulance & funeral coach distributor. It is believed that there were actually two identical ambulances ordered at the same time for Dallas County Ambulance. The ambulance in this photo is posed at the entrance of what is thought to be the old Jane Lamb Hospital (now MERCY Hospital) in Clinton, Iowa.
