This is a Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) ambulance of the type operated by Atlanta South Emergency Medical Services during the early 2000's. During the mid 90's Atlanta South was one of the largest EMS services in Georgia and was the primary 911 provider to the City of Atlanta (below Lakewood Freeway) as well as South Fulton County, College Park and East Point and neighboring Coweta County. Atlanta South was also one of the primary ambulance providers for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta and was on site minutes following the Olympic Park bombing.
